PD Dr Gregory Cunningham is an orthopaedic and trauma surgeon, specializing in shoulder and elbow surgery.
Trained at the University Hospitals of Geneva (HUG), he pursued a scientific fellowship at the Shoulder Research Institute in Sydney in 2015.
In private practice since 2017, he maintains a position as consultant physician at HUG and Hôpital Neuchâtelois (HNE).
In 2021, he founded CEPCO, a surgical center dedicated to the management of shoulder and elbow pathologies, recognized as a European SECEC training center. His activities include clinical and scientific research, as well as a training program for Swiss doctors and international visitors.
In 2022, he obtained the title of Privat-docent at the University of Geneva, where he regularly teaches bachelor’s and master’s medical students.
in 2024, he created and chaired the ESSOR Foundationa non-profit organization. The Foundation’s mission is to promote teaching, the sharing of expertise and scientific innovation.
Author of over 50 scientific publications and innovator of several surgical techniques, he is also an actively involved member of numerous medical and scientific societies. PD Dr. Cunningham is a regular speaker at conferences around the world.

PD Dr. Gregory Cunningham completed his training at the University Hospitals of Geneva (HUG), where he held the position of head of clinic for 4 years, including 1 year as head of the shoulder and elbow surgery team. He then completed a year’s surgical and scientific fellowship at the Sydney Shoulder Research Institute in Australia, where he perfected his practice using the latest techniques and launched several of his own research projects. PD Dr. Gregory Cunningham’s practice focuses on a scientific, evidence-based approach to providing the best possible treatment for his patients. |
