PD Dr. Gregory Cunningham
Dr. Maud Tartarat Maud Tartarat
Sports physician and FMH medical practitioner
Dr Tartarat has more than 15 years of experience, which has enabled her to currently occupy the post of trauma emergency manager at the Onex Clinic.
She completed her university studies in Lyon and then worked as an assistant head of clinic in the emergency department of CHU Grenoble-Alpes. This service is one of the largest in France, welcoming more than 100,000 patients per year, part of which results from trauma related to the practice of mountain sports. To complete her experience, Dr. TARTARAT wished to practice medicine in the very heart of a ski resort in the winter season. She was able to understand the different aspects of field medicine and improve her skills in the medical and technical management of limb trauma.
In 2013, on the strength of these multiple experiences, she set up as an independent doctor at the Clinique d’Onex with a mixed activity between emergencies and the practice. She will also work at the Sports and Exercise Medicine Center at Clinique La Colline for a few months.
Thanks to her recognized skills, she participates in the development of protocols for the RUG (Geneva emergency network), teaches courses at the Haute Ecole de Santé and trains a medical student in her medical practice each year. More recently, she created a specialized consultation, in tandem with a physiotherapist, in order to optimize the care of the patient in immediate post-trauma.
The practice of Dr. Maud TARTARAT is rigorous and documented medicine, based on scientific evidence in which the patient is at the center of his concerns in order to provide him with optimal quality care.
