Introduction : <\/strong>Le lipome arborescens est une pathologie rare qui affecte principalement le genou. Les occurrences au coude sont encore plus rares et concernent principalement la bourse bicipito-adiale. <\/p>\n\n

Description du cas : <\/strong>Nous d\u00e9crivons le cas d’un patient de 54 ans, connu pour une polyarthrite rhumato\u00efde, qui a consult\u00e9 pour une douleur chronique au coude associ\u00e9e \u00e0 un gonflement et \u00e0 une limitation de l’extension.<\/p>\n\n

Diagnostic : <\/strong>Le diagnostic de lipome arborescent du coude impliquant l’ensemble de l’articulation a \u00e9t\u00e9 pos\u00e9 par imagerie par r\u00e9sonance magn\u00e9tique et confirm\u00e9 par arthroscopie.<\/p>\n\n

Interventions : <\/strong>Apr\u00e8s l’\u00e9chec d’un traitement non op\u00e9ratoire consistant en des injections intra-articulaires de cortisone et de la physioth\u00e9rapie, la patiente a subi une synovectomie et une arthrolyse arthroscopiques.<\/p>\n\n

R\u00e9sultats : <\/strong>Apr\u00e8s un an de suivi, le patient ne ressentait plus aucune douleur, l’amplitude de ses mouvements \u00e9tait satisfaisante et les scores cliniques s’\u00e9taient consid\u00e9rablement am\u00e9lior\u00e9s.<\/p>\n\n

Conclusion : <\/strong>Il s’agit du premier cas illustr\u00e9 de lipome arborescent touchant l’ensemble de l’articulation du coude. M\u00eame s’il s’agit d’une maladie rare, il est important que les cliniciens, les radiologues et les chirurgiens connaissent sa pr\u00e9sentation, ses sch\u00e9mas d’imagerie et ses options th\u00e9rapeutiques. Dans ce cas, le traitement arthroscopique a permis d’obtenir un soulagement satisfaisant et durable de la douleur et des r\u00e9sultats fonctionnels.
