Toutes les \u00e9tudes cliniques \u00e9crites en anglais, fran\u00e7ais ou allemand, avec un niveau de preuve de 1 \u00e0 4, et \u00e9valuant le retour au sport apr\u00e8s arthroplastie de l&rsquo;\u00e9paule, ont \u00e9t\u00e9 incluses.23 \u00e9tudes au total ont \u00e9t\u00e9 incluses avec 2199 patients ayant subi une h\u00e9miarthroplastie (HA), une arthroplastie totale de l&rsquo;\u00e9paule anatomique (TSA) ou une arthroplastie totale de l&rsquo;\u00e9paule invers\u00e9e (RSA). L&rsquo;\u00e2ge moyen \u00e9tait de 68 ans (de 18 \u00e0 92,6 ans) et le sex-ratio (homme\/femme) de 1:1,5. L&rsquo;op\u00e9ration a \u00e9t\u00e9 r\u00e9alis\u00e9e sur l&rsquo;\u00e9paule non dominante\/dominante dans 1 cas sur 1,8. Le suivi moyen \u00e9tait de 4,2 ans. Le taux de RTS \u00e9tait de 75,5 % avec un d\u00e9lai moyen de 7 mois. Le taux de RTS apr\u00e8s arthroplastie de l&rsquo;\u00e9paule est \u00e9lev\u00e9, quel que soit le type d&rsquo;arthroplastie, avec une tendance \u00e0 un taux plus \u00e9lev\u00e9 apr\u00e8s l&rsquo;arthroplastie de l&rsquo;\u00e9paule. Les patients qui ont pu maintenir une activit\u00e9 sportive en pr\u00e9op\u00e9ratoire ont plus de chance d&rsquo;avoir une RTS apr\u00e8s l&rsquo;arthroplastie. L&rsquo;\u00e9chec de la RTS semble \u00eatre principalement li\u00e9 \u00e0 la s\u00e9v\u00e9rit\u00e9 de l&rsquo;affection sous-jacente et \u00e0 la dur\u00e9e de l&rsquo;incapacit\u00e9 pr\u00e9op\u00e9ratoire.
